injectors leaking

I just finished a head gasket job. Finally started the truck, she ran bad for a while then leveled out. But my injectors are leaking bad and i still have white smoke. All i did was but new copper washer on it since it came in the new gasket set. what should i do?

Did you replace the o-rings under the plastic caps when you replaced the injectors?
If not, they are leaking and need to be replaced. Do a search on return lines and you'll find a million responses on how to replace them.

when the return lines are disturbed they will start to leak the o-rings get brittle and will eventually not seal.when you change injectors you should always put a return line kit on,if nothing else go get a couple dozen #111 viton orings and toss the old ones.when you reinstall the caps make sure they are seated properly ,i always use vasaline on the orings before i slide the caps back on

Get the #111 O rings from McMaster-Carr and keep them around you get 100 for about 7.00. Napa wants .62 each for Buna o rings which are junk.

so where are they actually leaking, around the threads where they screw in or at the top around the plastic cap?

Not sure they are bubbling around the treads where they go into the head. It may be running down from the return lines, really cant tell.

So here goes, one of two situations.

Double copper washers or no copper washer. Pull one and let us know. I have seen that first hand and it will do it both ways. If you arent step by step sometimes things get forgotten about.

Their gold return line clamps leave a lot to be desired, i would have some good ones on standby. seem to bend and deform often. Also if youre in canada, its 20 bucks freight for shipping so 39 in total. If you have a local place that sells them for 50 or less, i would go there.
