35x12.5x18

I am in the process of buying a 2002 F350 4x4 Powerstroke. The one question I have is that it is lifted approximately 4" and has 35x12.5x18 tires on it. The rub at full lock. Is this going to cause any long term problems? I plan on replacing the them with something else when they are worn out.

Thanks
John

Metal surface where paint use to be, what does it rub on, the radius arm?

35's shouldn't be rubbing with a 4" lift - wrong rims (not enough offset) are to blame I'd say.

Zip tie your fender liner back.

It has to be in the offset of the wheels unless the drag link was not relocated when the lift was done but then it would only rub on one side of the truck....Mine has 35x12.5x20 m/t's with just a 2" leveling kit and doesn't rub....

Wheels must have too much negative offset. People do that because they like the "aggressive" look. I think it just looks stupid. I could fit a 37x12.50 with my 4" lift with about a -6mm wheel it wouldn't rub anywhere and would be flush with the fender opening.
