EBV delete
Well, after getting me ole Excursion running right...looked at my f350 thats had a small oil leak. Looks like its gonna be my Ebv valve.....Looking at a non ebv pedestal to install...I guess my question is what to do with the solenoid wire connection? I saw a dummy plug on a few sites... Is it as easy as replacing the pedestal and plugging in that plug into the wire harness where the solenoid/ sensor connected to the pedestal so as not to throw codes?

Glad to hear you got it fixed up! It helps other people when you update a thread on what the fix was. I recall you ordered the o rings from Bob. I'll edit this thread with a diy ebpv delete that should save you some cash.

Sorry about that .. will post regarding...nice to know peeps keep up with how things are going on others issues...looking into the gutting procedure vs moohlah for a new pedestal....sounds pretty straight forward...

You can make your own fooler with a 470 ohm 1 watt resistor. Just wire it across the connector you unplug from the actuator at the base of the turbo pedestal. Only a couple of bucks at most. Get one at Radioshack.
