front diff

ive got a 99 expedition and the front diff acts like its in 4x4 all the time pulled the main fuse for the 4x4 and still does it whitch would tell me its the front diff not the transfer its all wheel drive (think they all are) worn out front diff ? 190,000 on it any help would be nice thanks

Did you check to see if the shift motor is working or not ? It could be stuck in 4x4 mode.

ya i can get it to go into 4x4 and 4 lo and even pullrd the front drive shaft !
