What conditions or reasons are you thinking you would like one?

air locker is selectable, what are you doing with the truck that you need a locker? i assume that your talking about a truck with a 7.3L, therefor its likely to weigh 6-8k empty before its lifted with tires...yeah you can do it, but its not worth it unless you need it...

I live in the Mojave Desert and sometimes the sand is very soft. Maybe the Detroit True trac would be best for the front? I have a leveling kit, with a flat bed. I also usually carry two quads in the bed.

I like the air locker. Had one in a blazer just for the sand. Just don't leave it in on the highway. You'll break something for sure. And it isn't safe on wet or icey roads either locked in. Good luck.
