This is not my engine. I copied this photo from someone on this forum, and I hope they don't mind me reposting it. This is the best looking 300 I have seen. A lot of attention went into every detail and it shows. Enjoy.
I used the rustoleum hi heat paint. It is rated for 2000 degrees i think. I sanded them down with a wire wheel and painted and baked them in the oven per their directions. I have had about 4 heat cycles on them so far and they still look good. Some slight discoloration, but still better then rust colored.
