Hi everyone, I have a dash panel that I'm going to powder coat and I'm wondering what would be the most popular color? This is going to be practice for me prior to doing the one for my Bump and I thought if it turns out alright that I might put it up for sale for a couple of bucks.
Pat, If & when I ever get around to painting my truck it is going to get a charcoal grey Rhino liner type dash. That will offer some padding, with no glare.
Painting gloss paint will give you blinding glare at times.
If exterior paint isn't a concern; I would paint it black. If body paint is in excellent shape & color look; I paint same as body color. Example two tone red & wihte truck; paint dash red.
Well in that case; Is it a speedo type plastic or round standard?
If speedo; I think chrome black would look cool (powder coated) if possible to do????
Standard; basic white is ok; but chrome stands out!

I saw that the other day, it looks freakin good. Eastwood sells a Black Chrome powder that you apply over chrome or chrome powder, thats the one I'm looking at doing or one of their translucents.
Got two co-workers that mention the black Chrome; I plan on having my valve covers & hopefully Oil Bath breather cover done in that.
Summit sells at a reasonable price on powder coating stuff.
