Talking Made the switch!!

Well this past Saturday I traded in my '05 F150 SC XLT 4x4(5.4L) for a F350 CC Lariat 4x4(6.8L)! Wow what a nice truck and smooth ride!!! Thanks to this site and all of you guys that share I decided to go with the V10.

Truck looks great man. I really like that style of step bar, are those stock on that year or aftermarket, wonder if the f250 step bars are a direct fit to the excursion.

Thanks guys, so far I love it. I was actually looking for a 250 but couldnt find one with the options and budget within 300 miles of me on autotrader(looked for 2 months). I went with the gasser over the diesel for several reasons: don't need a diesel, cost of diesel vs gas and cost of maintenance. The V10 has more than enough power for what I want and need.

I made that same switch... from an 05 F150 XLT 4x4 to a F350 6.8 FX4.

I couldn't be happier and neither could the local Sunoco. Congrats on a great truck!

Too bad they didn't make the nose lower for the gassers, they could shave off another MPG or two on the highway
