Hello the forum!
This seems to be a good info. place. I've posted a bit about a '75 XLT I'm considering as a daily driver, and already had a couple replies.
Now, to convince the wifey it's the "sensible" thing to do...... latest response is, "... it's HOW old??!!??"

Well, I'm not going to be able to help with the wife communication. Mine still thinks I'm nuts and cannot understand why my Explorer and my '78 F-150 mean so much.
I can recommend not saying "Honey, it was here before you and will be here when your gone, so leave it alone.

Cobraxp, Well, i *did* get a young one (compared to me), but I doubt I'll be buying a truck earlier than a '70 model! ....... unless I get to restore a '66 Chevy like I grew up in, back on the farm...... some day.
Your point is well taken.
Reaction last night was, ".... that *is* a cute truck... now, just why this infatuation with old trucks?".....
I reckon that's a positive step.
