Seems better than the X3 do people go with the X3 just to save some $$$ or is it not available for the 2000 Excursion???

If you need our backing then your already doomed. You could always try the old. "a bride isn't always a sound investment but we still make em". Gotta try everything at least once so we can say for sure if it was sound.
I found the tranny has better shift points, more power to get up and go, plus some milage added into the mix. Plus, plus and bonus.
I went with the x3, cuz I truly didn't see me using the features of the livewire. Plus I had recently bought the AE scanner that had all those features of the livewire. Either way you should be happy with the end result.
