Comp cam techline this morning told me my cam already has a 4 degree advance in it so the stock setup should be fine on gears. As for oil additive he said one bottle is fine with use of a zinc based oil. I'm using castrol 10w/30 so he did reccomend another at least 1/2 bottle but a complete other bottle won't hurt so I'll run two.
I didnt stop to look at what cam your running in your build ? another words I didnt look it up to see what the specs are..care to shed some light on it...I'am wondering as you said , I think you running stock non adjustable rocker arms ?
Ok I was just seeing what the lift was..and you should be ok...I think the rule of thumb is like .575" lift on stock non adjustable valvetrain as I recall.. If there in good shape..Good luck...Looks like a fun build...
you went with roller rockers on your build? What is the real advantage of it? can you expect more horsepower and on a build like mine what would you expect to increase. I found these on ebay which look like a good deal?? would you have to set every valve or is it non adjustable simple bolt on??
