Yes I'm back again, just installed triple gauge set-up on my 2001 F-250 my question is what should my boost be ? If i'm on highway at 1600 rpm's my boost gauge shows 2-5 lbs unless I get on it at 2000 rpm boost raises to 6-8. Best I got after going into passing gear @ 20 lbs, at normal city driving gauge shows 2-3 lbs all the time. Waitng for cold air induction and tuner to arrive from wholesaler. I read on some threads here about shortning the wastegate rod is that something I could do ? I'm a newbie to diesel's and I've been reading as much as I can here on this site. I must say this web site is excellent and the people who have responded to my questions have been very polite and informative. Once again I will THANK YOU ALL for your help. NAVYSNIPER
Welcome back NS. Your boost sounds normal at your cruising speeds. Some people do shorten their wastegate rods but IMO your not going to see any seat of the pants power gains. What kind of tunes did you go with???
