Possibly a 1964 ranger?
The seller is not claiming the truck to be a sport version or a ranger. He does not even focus on the interior pics in his sale. I see know reason for him to not be sincere in what he says.
I just looked at the ad again and noticed that it even has the zippered map pocket in the door.
The seller is not making any claims because he simply does not know and is a "CHEVY" guy BUT he restores cars for a living and can simply look at it and get a pretty good idea its been like that since early in its life. This particular truck did come factory with bucket seats. Call it what you want a Ranger or Sport Package, it has the 6 digit DSO special order code to back it up. ND can bark up a tree all day long saying they do not exist just because he is the AUTHORITY and has not seen one.
I never said Falcon's did not come with Holley carbs, I DID say none of the V8's came with one. If you say they did...what year/what engine?
How much Ford literature do you have? Were you alive when these trucks were new? How many years did you spend in the autobiz?
I've been in this hobby since 1956, have owned over 331 vehicles, have over 3,000 books on auto history, have a photographic memory, an IQ of 163 and belong to Mensa.
You're just a hobbyist with a smarmy additude.
There is no parts catalog reference for any 1964 Ranger parts, the 1964 sales brochure I bought has no info on them.
1962/63 and thru 12/1964, I was a partsman at Ralph Williams Ford in Encino CA, which at that time was the largest selling Ford Dealer on the planet.
If anyone would have had any of these so-called 1964 Rangers, it would have been Ralph.
I never saw one on the lot and I was planning on buying a new truck, so I looked at as many as possible. In March 1965, after I changed jobs, I bought a new 1965 F100 Standard Cab 352, with O/D.
Where were you when these trucks were new?
If I'm wrong, I admit it...but I'm not wrong very often, despite your BS claim that I am wrong many times.
1) If it is not in the BROCHURE it did not exist
2) Door Pockets were not part of any package
3) If RALPH did not have it it did not exist
4) No such thing as bucket seats in a 1964 F100
5) No Falcons left the factory with a Holley Carb
OOPS, Sorry I was WRONG that was more than 3. so if we take 32,287 posts and someone knows 1% of what you do does that mean you have been wrong 322.87 times or is that just FUZZY math?

Without reference material, without actual dealership experience, you cannot make statements claiming I am wrong...it's as simple as that.
trans A/ axel 12 / gvw 4200/ cert. 135/ net hp 3800 / d.s.o 210325
serial number F10CH511XXX truck has been in a small town its whole life owner died of cancer an few months back/// truck still has the original carpet in the floor boards and has not had anything removed from the interior except for the a/c unit I dont know much about these trucks but that doesnt mean i dont know about restoring or rare vehicles im just a chevy man that builds ncrs big block corvettes so i know what is real and what isnt... this truck came with everything that you see in the picture and noooo it was not added on later any questions you can call me at 770-856-7864 i welcome anybody to come and look!
in 1964 ford offereed a "SPORT PACKAGE"
The DSO 0235 indicates special order (could have been paint trim engine ect). Therfore the buyer went in to the dealer and checked off the correct trim package that consisted of buckets, console, carpet and vyinal cover over the gas tank.
It is not pre fit. it was ordered that way.
Basically this is the second truck i have seen for 1964 with this combination. It is not a ranger it is not a pre ranger it is a F100 with a sport packkage.

Here you are wrong another 5 times in a single post!
So first tell me how I need to have any of the above to know full well Some Falcons were built with Holley carbs? You have all the above or so you say yet you did not know it. The experience, the books and catalogs did not tell you that?
By the way I do have Ford Dealership experience, I DO have all the catalogs, I do have a lot of Brochures and accessory catalogs and a matter of fact have a Microfiche reader from a Ford dealership with ALL the Microfiche to go with it. Mercury, Ford and Ford truck catalogs too and 35yrs plus of restoring these vehicles. But all that is totally irrelevant to simply knowing or not knowing something.
Why did you not answer my other questions? Because all your books did not shake you out of your cloud and tell you? You always put in your mind something and thats it. You are the FORD king and know one else knows anything. Hawkrod and others have schooled you so many times it is downright funny.

Not sure about the 64' Ford Sports package to if the gas tank cover was vinyl or carpet or if the console was part of package but for 65-66 The console was an option and the gas tank cover was carpet along with full floor carpet that was SEWN not molded! But I guess because I happen to own one of these Rangers that was pretty much unrestored it simply does not exist because I do not have the same books that ND has... Because the interior color does not match the door tag it was IMPOSSIBLE to order because the book says so. The carpet with date code on back side two weeks before truck was built does not matter at all either and thats because ND said so!
The blank for paint code and the 6 digit DSO is also impossible because the parts book says so!
The lady original owner told me a complete fabrication and lie and because her name was on title since day one was meaningless because ND said back then a lady simply would not have the $$ to buy a new truck and of course we all know ND has never been wrong. I am still trying to figure out how the lady was able to have paperwork and title in her name from back then when it was actually a ghost that was real owner. Learn something new each day...
By the way the full DSO on truck in question is 210325 Atlanta. But the book says the Sports Package with Buckets and Console does not exist so someone must have made the tag back 46+yrs ago because they knew it would come up in 2010.
If what ND is telling us is true FORD never made a single vehicle without first having it in the Parts Catalog that HE owns.
I never said Falcon's did not come with Holley carbs, I DID say none of the V8's came with one. If you say they did...what year/what engine?

You're just a hobbyist with a smarmy additude.
Here you again clearly say no V-8 Falcons came with a Holley!
As a matter of fact I owned one. So in this case your photographic memory and your IQ did not help you at all now did it?
So now please tell me MR know it all how the Mensa program has helped you out with No Holley carbs on a v-8? How did the supposed 331 vehicles, 3000 books and being a parts man help you to learn you are flat out WRONG!
Again look how many times you have been wrong on just THIS simple post of a Bucket seat 64 F100. So if I can prove to you that a V-8 Falcon came with a HOLLEY carb from the FACTORY you will make a post that you have been SCHOOLED by a hobbyist? So what do you need a pic of the holley powered Falcon or what would work for you? Again this is YOUR ditch you are digging not mine. I can get the Ford Part number for it if you would like? I had a NOS one in the box a while back. For someone with a Photographic memory (in YOUR words) it seems to be lacking here... LOFLOL
11/11/10 the day ND was home S C H O O L E D... Go ahead and put that in your parts book!
Where is YOUR proof for all the other stuff you claim Ford did? You don't have ZILCH, yet you accuse me of being wrong.
My proof is a 70 1/2 Falcon with a 429 SCJ. There you go a Falcon with a HOLLEY!
What the Mercury Capri with a factory 427 & A four speed? I owned one thats why I know. Again just because you are not aware does not mean they did not exist. So how about if you look up a 1970 1/2 falcon with a SCJ 429 and please tell me what carb it came with? How about you show me the sales brochure that offered a 427 in a capri? I have one of those if you do not...
By the way I looked it up and YOUR Ralph dealer did not sell any 427 Capri's. So I guess that means they do not exist.
