Hey all I think i made a bad move i went to look at a bumper here on craigs list it was removed from a 93 f-150 & i am looking for something to mount up to my 90 250.... Can someone just reasure me the frames are different 92 and up in the front.... our 96 has a boxed in type where my 90s only got a c rail....((( If anyone wants it here it is..... (((((
You aren't going to miss much. Except worse gas mileage than what you have now. Winches are heavy enough...you don't need a that boat anchor. Take it from a former Ranch Hand bumper owner. Those things are damn heavy, and add alot of weight to the front end. They're sturdy...but too damn heavy. I wanted a wich bumper without all the weight, so I built a tube bumper with a winch mount separate. Guess what...the bumper I built weighs less than the stock bumper. And yes, mine has hit a tree or two.
If I didn't have one and it that model would fit I would jump on it. I've had one on the last three F250's I've had and never noticed a bit of difference in gas mileage. It's like not wanting to carry a passenger cause your worried about A drop in gas mileage. You will not notice any difference by adding 100-200 lbs to a F250.

YOU might not notice a difference, but some people will, and that includes myself. I can tell when I've added or taken away weight from my truck. I get 8 MPG in my Bronco. That was before the winch and roll cage. What my fuel economy is now, I couldn't tell you, because I stopped paying attention to it, and when I added the weight of those items, I figured it couldn't get much worse. But the first time I drove it after installing those parts/items, I could immediately tell a difference.
Saying that you ain't going to notice adding 200 lbs to your truck is like saying your buddies aren't going to notice the fat chick sitting a little too close to you in the front seat.
