Winch bumper?

I have looked until I'm blue in the face. I've googled, shopped, went to the local stores. My question is this: Is there or was there ever made a winch bumper for the 99-03 F150? I'm not looking for a bolt over the current bumper scenario, like a Warn Transformer. I'm not looking for a brush guard or anything that comes up as high as the grill and headlights. I AM looking for something that angles up on the ends, will allow me to keep my fog lights, and is a full bumper replacement. I'd like it to be similar to the Fab Fours bumper pictured in this link: Fab Fours | Products | Half Ton Front Bumpers | 09 - 10 Ford F-150 Bumper w No Grill Guard FF09-H1951-1

Can anyone point me in the right direction? Or is this going to be something that I have to have custom made?

thats what i was gonna say was ranch hand i think they make a bumper similar to what you want, the only other thing i know would be to custom make your self one if you have access to the stuff

I've looked at the Ranch Hand bumper. The bottom half is right, except the one for my model isn't set up for a winch, and it's got all the grill guard stuff on it. For what I need/want, it's under-equipped overkill.....

Well, I tore off a piece of the lower valance at an offroad event over the weekend. The lower valance hangs too low to give any decent approach clearance. And yeah, a winch is planned for the near future. I don't want to go big and gaudy. I'd like something that stays close to the factory lines but gives clearances where they're needed and tow points and of course a winch mount....

I also got into a tree stump on the passenger side and caved in the nerf bar. It saved my door, but made me realize I might need to upgrade from cab mount to frame mount bars for a little more strength. I'm gonna have a set of sliders made to get that done. I know no one makes that in a package deal....

Well why not get the ranch hand with a hitch mount winch? That seems like your best bet short of making one by hand.

I've definitely thought about it, but man that thing is BIG. I can only imagine what it weighs. I'm gonna check with some of the guys who are good with fabricating in the local offroad club and see how much it's gonna cost to get one built like the fab fours bumper. Possibly see if I can keep the weight down as much as possible so I don't have to get into leveling my truck back up in the front....

Road armor makes one, only problem I had is I got one of the very first when they used a new design and the mounting slots where too low so the bumper had a good 1" gap from the top to the bottom of the grille. I had to modify it to move the bumper up.

Road Armor

I now see they are twice the price I paid a few years ago as well.

I made my warn winch mount out of some 10" channel.
It tucks behind/inside the front bumper out of sight and I spot welded it to the frame to make it VERY difficult for someone to steal. This logic was tested once when I was in florida and someone crawled up under the truck and removed the mounting bolts just to find it WELDED.
They left empty handed.
Personally, I would never want to mount a winch on the exterior which to me is just asking to have it stolen.

Yeah $2K is ridiculous IIRC I paid around $1200 to my door 3 years ago. I always wanted the rear to match which used to be $700 now it is twice that. I can't remember the other manufacturer's but Road armor is not the only one who makes them. Too bad you don't live close I have a buddy that used to build them and I am sure would make one for half or less than half that price if he had the time.

I will say I have ran over 1 Antelope with mine and it hurt nothing, other than the nasty burning antelope smell on my exhaust for a week. I think the bumper about paid for itself when that happened. The older style road armor looked quite a bit like that above bumper.
