Oh, yah, that evil thing - I cut mine off as I got a drop-down arm rest with speakers right behind it so it needs to stay down all the time which means no one rides in the middle, ever. Not like I ever met a girl who likes to sit there anyways, lol.
She's the first and only that likes sitting there... But then again, that might be why she's a keeper . She hates riding in the mounty because it has a center console. Even on a 12-15 hour trip she stays in the middle the whole way.
Which reminds me, weather permitting, I'll be taking the truck on a 12 hr road trip for thanksgiving.
Anyone else got travel plans for their trucks over thanksgiving?

She must really like you then
On the road trip thing, no, no turkey-day excursions for me - but X-mas is coming soon enough and I'm going "home" for it and that's one helluva long trip (especially with no company, but then that's why I got a CB).

Yeah, I know what you mean about no company. Sadly I'll be making the journey alone as well, however... she will be where I'm going. I wont bore you with the details, but let's just say, I'm glad she'll be finished with school in the spring.
I've been listening to pandora radio at work this week to help make a list of songs to burn for the trip down.

Actually in my case having no company is not necessarily a bad thing - when I drive I make for very poor conversations, I just can't multi-task like I probably should being a college grad and all that. About the music, I got a pretty nice CD with country songs on it (nice for daytime driving), and another one with lots of Yuki on it (best suited for night driving), that gives me about 250 tracks right there. I also have an mp3-player I can hook up to the radio, and if that ain't enough I can quickly make a new playslist on my laptop while at a rest stop and run that into the radio (I got a power inverter under the dash for that very purpose).
Thank You Brad. I'd rate your comment as the short and sweet version of LCAM's.

Do you have any problems with the 60Hz hum when using a power inverter into the laptop then running the laptop's line out into the stereo's aux in? That was always a problem for me.
You know me. I dont beat around the bush about nothing
Ya know, the more I think of it, the more I'm starting to think this thread was actually all about showing off the girlfriend, and all the other pics were just a cover

Never noticed it. My inverter is next to the glovebox door, the transformer section of the laptop charge cable lays on the passenger-side floor pan, laptop itself is on the passenger seat on top of a two-fan cooling pad (USB-powered), and there's an iPod cable between the laptop and the stereo head unit - all devices are at least a foot away from each other, and cables don't get near one another either, so maybe that's why I don't get a hum? I dunno...
Lemme see,
Nice ride, gorgeous lady, sittin in the middle, fishin' for the seatbelt, Yah, Right!
You just cant post the results here for the mods to swipe and not share.
BTW, love the intent, photos and the togetherness. (Ride/pics/lady.) All good, my friend.

If by that you mean, how did I achieve my results... I wish I knew. The truck is just like anyone else on here, a lot of hard work. As per the girl, I can only chalk it up to dumb luck.
