Much earlier this last summer I took a Sunday and took the GF out for a ride. Nothing else to do, so why not take my two best competitors for attention and keep them both happy. I just happened to run across a few pics of that trip on her facebook and I thought I'd post them here... Mainly, because it's getting cold and I like thinking of summer. Plus we got a few nice shots of some neat trucks.
If you don't think that these photos are relevant, I apologize.
o_O well i gotta say u dont look anything like i expected
i always pictured some oderish guy lol
Same here, must be cause he don't behave like most folks his age seem to. Also, the pic of the girlfriend on the IHC hood with the tractor on the side is pure awesomeness, complete opposite to what I used to see up in Royal Oak or Novi She is a very pretty lady by the way, and I'm saying this in a most respectful manner - you are indeed a lucky man! And the pic of the barn reminds me of a pic I took out west in the area between the Zoo and Grand Rapids, lemme see if I can find it to show ya...
Also, how in the world can you wear a shirt with collar? In summer no less! That's sleeveless T-ee time man, see you got it right with the flip flops

>.< ur kinda scrony too lol anyways back on topic...
I've been called worse . As per how I act, maybe it's because I've been on this forum so long... or because 90% of my friend are over 50. I hope I don't loose any respect here for being under 30.

I agree, it is a great pic, we actually got quite a few with some neat older trucks, but I don't have them all here (and I appreciate you compliment on the lady). That barn pic is actually, probably between Grand rapids and Kzoo longitudinally speaking. Probably a bit south though. Just west of Three Rivers.
I've got plenty of t-shirts to wear, but I enjoy getting dressed up a bit when I'm not having to work (which seams like every day). Plus as long as your going 60+ the heat doesn't bother you.

Hey hey now, i ain't anywhere near 30 myself! And respect gained or lost has nothing to do with age IMHO.

Yup, that general area, I actually got lost there when I was coming back from a friend's place - that was on purpose tho, 94 is just way too boring, so I brought out the map and was like let's see how far down this country road I can go... Great way of exploring MI that is

Hah, my idea of dressing up is switching the camo pants for a pair of jeans and putting on my Brooks & Dunn "Asphalt Cowboys" T-ee, oh and obviously shining up my Tony Lamas But 60 mph on a country road, no way man, that's just ruining the experience - 45mph in OD so the darn engine barely rumbles up front, with windows rolled down and the slider open and the radio off so I can enjoy the nature sounds
By the way, I took a closer look at the last pic, and found something very very wrong! Why is the pretty lady not wearing a seat belt? If you hit the brakes hard your butt will stay in the seat, but pretty lady's head will hit the pretty windshield in front of her, and neither will be so pretty afterwards Enforce safety man, if we don't take care of our passengers who will?
lol i was just playing around.... and im way under 30 ;3 im just 21
I know. I'll take every day of youth I can. 24 already feels to old.

Don't think I took the age comments in a bad way. It was more of a joke. The wandering method is exactly how we came across all of the places in these pics. Only difference is we had no map, but then again we had no place to be. My truck wont cruise at 45 in OD, no way at all. I don't hear my engine cruising at any speed, by the time I'm going fast enough the wind is way louder .
No worrys on the seat belt. It is there, just no shoulder strap. She in the middle of the 40/20/40 seat, I know because whenever we go somewhere we always have to fish for that darn thing .

Oh, yah, that evil thing - I cut mine off as I got a drop-down arm rest with speakers right behind it so it needs to stay down all the time which means no one rides in the middle, ever. Not like I ever met a girl who likes to sit there anyways, lol.

Oh man, I can already see such a thread going right down the gutter within the first page!
