Okay so my 1998 ford f250 is acting up a bit. It stumbles almost like a misfire at low Rpms then after like 3000rpm it's golden. I replaced fuel filter serviced my rear diff, and Fuel injection system. I noticed a huge difference in power after all of that but it still stumbles especially After I've been driving for a While.
I suspect spark plugs but I hope to god it isn't, just because it's somewhat of a big job on the 5.4 Triton.
oh and say I'm going like 65mph and I floor It, it gets bad and if I keep flooring
It the check engine light starts flashing for like 45 seconds then goes away.
Yeper, you gave the hint.
Flashing CEL is the OX sensor telling you ignition failed on one or more cylinders and passed uncombusted fuel thru the cylinder that is burning in and overheating a cat.
My first bet is if you think the plugs are good, a boot or coil is failing.
Look for a code set, with a scanner, to tell you what cylinder is not firing.
If you see a flashing lamp, a code is likely set.
Good luck.
I have dual coils on mine, and your problem sounds like the two times I have plug wires go bad. (Two times because I bought the best wire sets the parts stores had - this hasn't been an issue since I followed the advice to just buy and use Ford wires).
