Its the idle circuit in the pump it is sticking fill the fuel filter up with diesel kleen run it for 15 seconds to get the diesel kleen in the pump and let it sit overnight.
Sticky-sticky injection pump, my 6.2 did this last winter, a full big bottle of whatever diesel conditioner the parts store carried at the time cured it.
I agree with you. Sea foam is also a great product. I use it once a year in everything I own from lawnmower to motorcycle. It makes an instant improvement.
Morgan, i put atf in the filter when i changed it, and had a helluva time getting it started once all that was in the injectors.... stick with diesel kleen or if you could get some of the stanadyne ip cleaner or whatever its called....
i usually mix half atf and half diesel in the filter at filter change. i dont run atf in the tanks, the DOT like to do spot checks around here right around harvest time.

Seafome is awsome, i buy that stuff by the gallon, kinda expensive but it makes a world of diffrence.
LOL I have nothing against t fluid in the filter, but I don't like it on a cold engine, so I wouldn,t let it sit in the pump and injectors to clean them. There is much better stuff on the market to use, in my opinion.
If you fill the filter with atf probably at least half of it winds up in the tank,
