I just installed my diamond eye 3 inch downpipe and 5 inch back..but I have rattle from the dp hitting the manifold I believe. Does this mean I need to just do some more prying and swing that dp alittle? Has anyone had this problem? Would anybody reccommend denting the new dp alittle to make it clear the manifold? Thanks!!!!!
Check for it rubbing your transmission line (if you have an auto), might need to do some more bending and prying and get it lined up again.
If it continues might think about some header wrap on it just to be sure it doesn't wear through.
I think you'll be ok just making a little more clearance and re-adjusting it.
I have the same downpipe and it was rubbing for a while, but re-adjusted and fixed it.
Thanks, I have a manual transmission, looks like good clearance all around that but I'm hitting the manifold and firewall abit I think..I will be going back at it again tomorrow and hopefully getting it all dialed in..then welding it all up
