I have a 1981 Ford Motorhome Econoline and the ignition switch lock won't turn. Anyone have any help that they can provide on what to do to fix the problem. Thanks.

Reason: Clarification
I have a similar problem. This works for me. After inserting the key, back it out just a hair, and I do mean a hair.
Thank you and the other responders. I have tried the lubricant and moving the steering wheel and pulling the key out a bit. If I don't get it to work I have to see if there are instruction on how to fix the problem. Thanks.

Thank you for responding. It is on the steering column and I replaced the ignition cylinder today. It worked and I can now turn the switch on to start the engine. Thank you all for responding.
