Lookin for any help on this..truck was running rough after rough starts. started after i changed the oil and fuel filters. its done this last 2 oil changes but eventually evened out. last sunday hubby went to warm the truck up did the rough start, ran 2 cycles on the command start. and when i went to start it 6 hrs later wouldnt start.
checked fuel filters make sure they were fuel, oil was good..picked up OBD II reader following tuesday, for 2 codes P0611 and p0672. let the truck sit for 9 days while i picked brains til i could get it into the shop which is today. yesterday i tried to start it after the batteries died an i boosted it. and only got the 0672 code.
finally got some kind of news from shop they got codes off it 0261, 0264, 0267, 0270, 0273, 0276 0279 and 0282 all which say is cylinder x injector circut low. lookin for further direction, is it a wiring harness or is it the fimc like i though orginally?
99% chance it's your FICM. Try the FICM repair listed in the tech folder before you spend the money on a FICM. You have nothing to lose. P0611 is pretty much FICM "death". P0672 is #2 glowplug wire or bad glowplug.
thanks! yea thats what i figured...but thats what gets me is it isnt showing up anymore?? for myself or the shop..ive been lurkin here all these past 2 weeks lookin for idears...cause alot i can do myself (and yes i enjoy it, and my hubby luvs seein me in my covies) but these codes comin up had me stumped
