I am new to the board, I own a 2000 4x4 excursion diesel 4" lift. I live in Albuquerque NM, the past few days waking up to 15-20 degree weather. Yesterday when I started it up, it chuged a little and sounded like it was only running on a couple cylinders. I quickly shut it off, and waited till about 10 seconds after the wait to start light went off. Then it ran better. But the service enging light was on. I pulled the codes with my code reader, and came up with #1 P0672, #3P0674, #2 P0676, #1 P0678. I cleared them, but only lasted for a couple of starts, same codes again. Ford won't tell me what they are. Does anyone here know??

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Can they test each one to see which is bad??

I always have bad luck with winter and powerstroke's.. I had a dually that had problems, but different.

See, I've never owned or had to work on a PSD. I would suggest asking that question down in the DEDICATED PSD forum . It is chock full of knowledgable fellas who will help you out in a jiffy. Sorry that I cannot be of more assistance.

ok, my 2003 excursion I just got has a code P1000; from the list this is "OBD 11 monitor checks not complete. more driving required". What does that mean? I've had no problems with it, I love it. I don't have the keypad code for the driver's door though, been scanning for an answer and it looks like it's got to go to the dealer to find out. There's someone on ebay selling it for $20- you buy it and he e-mails you where the code is. So that means it's somewhere in the vehicle, but not in any of the places I've looked.
