Adding Actuators to a 56 f100

ok, so im reaching out to see if anyone can provide me with a little knowledge. I would like to take out the factory door handle and locking mechanism so i can install an aftermarket actuator. I have installed hundreds of actuators over the years but i was able to SEE the rods and components lol. with the 56 i can barely reach the mechanism to attach to. Can someone let me know how to remove the unit so i can do this? I can manage to remove the screws but i don’t want it to fall apart and not know how it was to begin with lol. Any help would be greatly appreciated.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o></o>
