Now that's a damn good question. Once the door panel is off hopefully you can raise it by hand but I have never been in that position so I'm not sure. You'll just have to give it a try and tell us if that works.

Go ahead and loosen the bolts holding the motor. This should disengage the gear from the window regulator and allow you to move the glass up and get the motor out.

Like Roland Said just loosen the bolts a LITTLE and you should be able to get the window up by hand.

It might just be a stuck brush in the motor that is the problem. Here is the link to issue I had: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/9...with-pics.html

The problem I had with those things that the dang thing would work and not work!! Always down when the rain started!!! Replacement was a snap . I was curious to find out what the off again on again deal with the motor was. And the answer was a dead spot in the motor armature! Was like playing roulette. If it landed on the dead spot not workeee!! Otherwise ok. Enough to drive one screaming into the woods sometimes.!!

if that don't work

with window-regulater unbolted from door pull glass up as far as you can tape ip place. Now get a 10 mm 1/4 ratch and socket and unbolt reg from glass and pull to top ( re-tape ) now you have room to work in side of door on that moter
