The normal 450 has the full amount of power. The Chassis cab model shows the lower numbers. Which are actualy the same as the 6.7L cummins. I wonder if there putting the cummins in the 450 chassis? Or maybe just somewhere down the line somebody got the numbers wrong on the ford website mixing up the 2 6.7L's.
I could see the 6.7's posable for 2012 on the 650/750. Im sure they dont wanna put any first year issues into those.
A "normal" 450 has always been the cab & chassis. The 2011 450 pickup (really a 350 with the old tow boss package) uses the pickup 6.7 ratings. The cab & chassis 450/550 use the neutered ratings. You guys need to give up on Ford putting the Cummins in a Super Duty smaller than the 650. IT'S NOT GOING TO HAPPEN. The numbers are not wrong, the 450/550 C/C has a lower rated engine. It's not a mistake. It has a single vane turbo, and milder programming. Putting an engine in a different application takes more engineering. I would expect that Ford took this year to get the 650/750 application of the 6.7 POWERSTROKE ready. Ford has expressed interest in selling the 6.7 to other companies, so it would be a huge surprise if it doesn't see the 650/750 line.
