Electrical problem

Electrical problem
HI......got a 2000 f-350 5.4 engine and all of sudden started to have a electrical problem.......When i stop the motor and remove the key from the ignition i hear a clicking sound coming from a module under the dash behind the little compartment beside the ashtray......the heater fan stay on unless i put it to off and the passenger airbag light on the on\off key switch stay on and dim.....????????? What could be the problem....??????

electrical gremlins! Honestly I had some problems like this and it was a short in one of the wires. You could spend lots of time and money trying to fix this yourself by replacing things that are not even the problem (I know from experience). My recommendation is to take it to a good dealer and have them check it out. They figured out the problem with mine in less than an hour
