I have the backup camera that shows up on the nav unit....which by the way the virtual tracks on my SRW is highly accurate...I had my wife place a soda can on the asphalt behind the truck and I was able to run over the can based off of the virtual tracks. But I had the truck a few days before I place a hitch on it and then I noticed there is a centering mark between the virtual track...it may or may not have been there before I put the hitch on (I'm sure it was) but the cenering marks are not in the center of the truck...the marks are to the right of the hitch by about 2 inches real dimensions and about a centimeter on the nav screen. Has anyone else noticed this???
I noticed the same thing about the black line in thee middle. I was able to compensate and still put the Travel Trailer on the ball with very little effort the whopping two times I pulled it so far. Use it as a reference and you will get very close.
I do wonder if there is a way to adjust it as it does irritate me that it is off center of the hitch. but if that is the worst of it, it is still useful.
I think it's off center for a reason, that black center line is offset so that you can see your hitch ball and trailer. If the line were in the center, it would cover up the hitch ball and it would be impossible to see it go under the trailer? Right?
Anyway, once I got used to it, I can hook up perfectly every time, no more getting in and out 5 times to line it up.

I agree When I hooked up last weekend for the first time.Having the black dashes offset helped. On my suburban the screen was clear, seemed to be easier to see the ball. Just need some more practice.
Cant wait till Thanksgiving week Going camping
i wish there was an option to get a camera on the 3rd break light to help in hooking up goose neck trailers, with my current crewcab 350 with a tool box in the bed i cant see the ball, and hate getting out multiple times. Maybe be able to switch between tail gate and 3rd brake light camera or put them on a split screen. . . Just a thought.

Very good point! I didn't think about that at all.

Yeah putting that way makes sense. Like I said I used it as a reference. And it is very nice not having to get out of the truck a bunch of times
Having a backup camera finally will be the best thing since sliced bread!
Agreed especially since my wife can't back me up to the boat for nothin...I do better on my own....Imma love the camera when the boating season starts up again and I can really start using all the fancy towing features. The '11 ultimate lariat is a major upgrade over my 6.0l xlt
