Ford Nav upgrade problem with back-up camera video?
I bought a Factory Nav Head unit and amp kit and installed it on my 2011 F350. Everything works but the rear view camera. I had it programmed to switch to the head unit and it does, but there is no video on the screen.
The directions stated that it the connection for the back-up camera was not listed and to consult the Ford dealer. I have a 2 pin connection on the wire kit that is not connected to anything and I assume that this is for the back-up camera video.
Where is the video conection that goes to the rear veiw mirror? I need to move that connection to the head unit and I can not find any info on where this rear view mirror video cable can be disconected and moved to the new head unit?
Didn't I read on here somewhere where folks were dissatisfied with the video on the Nav screen because of the long delay before the picture came up? Just a thought.
