Your answer is way better than mine! And I too agree. I've spent some time in a few of the other FTE forums and had to get out as fast as I could

There is plenty of wilderness around here. From high desert to high mountains. I just like to go out and plink here and there. I do enjoy being the woods most of all. I live in a small town South of Santa Fe, NM where many of the folks live "off the grid" and won't have it any other way.

About this forum, I've been here a month only and I've never felt more welcome in any forum and I've been "computing" since 81' , I don't have to worry about getting "flamed" when I ask a question... Piece of mind for me and my Ford - I will be donating when I get some cash together -

Lol we do get off topic alot but its never to bash anything or anyone. Even though I just got my super duty I was playing around that section for a little but I like this forum much better. There seems to be alot of arguing over there instead of working together. And the trucks and engines are pretty much the same anyway. By the way that plow looks alot like the one on my obs which was a snow-way 25d series. My new truck has a western uni- mount pro. I like the way the snow-way mounted better n I liked the down pressure but we will see how the super duty plows compared to my f 350 obs

Yeah that's awesome. One day maybe... I get "out there" often as I can though. My favorite spots = no cell phone service. Had some family friends that used to own a lodge in Red River. We spent a lot of time every spring in the Red River, Taos, Eagle Nest triangle which is I guess a little northwest of you. Always hated coming home.

The places you mentioned are nice to be at for sure.. I try to get out there but since this whole recession thing, well anyway. Got the .22 at Walmart for $169 and at the time it was doable.. Fun to plink now and again.. Right near where I live I can take the rifle out for a session and ammo is pretty cheap for that thing.

Yeah I could use a .22. It's like making a bill payment when I go shoot my .45 or rifles. And they're all common calibers. I can't imagine shooting something less common...
