Well its been a long week of ling days working on the truck everyday with petey (7.3rocket)
Last thursday we picked up a Chevy Suburban front clip and began to remove the unwanted parts
Next we attached the clip under a donor cab onto the donors frame
Went to work on getting the height out of the suspension...
Front of the pinch weld was still about 3" to high so we ordered up some 3" drop spindles from Summit

While waiting on the spindles we got the bags mounted and got the frame out from under the donor cab
Then we grafted the chevy and ford frames
The new front clip looked like this ... it bolts in where the factory frame rivets together

Brought Swagger back inside and got the clip attached
Up
Down... at this point the tires were making contact with the fender supports
A day worth of bracing and trimming we got the pinch weld on the ground dront to back
Pic shows the truck up vs down from the same perspective

Thabks man, I dont mean to sound ungrateful for the compliment ... just tryin to stay modest.
I have the drive and knowledge at my disposal. beyond that its all about money and time, both of which I wish I had more of. To my knowledge a srw 7.3 has never been done and after 3 years I can give u w list of reasons why but I refuse to give up

First lesson I learned about building something is that you usually have the time or the money. .. rarely both

With all this snow you should be rolling in dough soon. Of course, to your point, it would need to stop snowing long enough for you to spend it
