Well if you dont want to be killed then yes, lights are a must haha. But seriously you must obide by the rules of the road just like a vehicle and must have white light in front and red/flasher in the rear. I look like a rolling christmas tree when I am on the road at night HAHA.
Same in Vermont. But to ride on the roads here, most of the time its like a suicide wish, there are some road shoulders just wide enough to get the white line on.
Well if I lived in the city of Memphis I doubt I would be riding the roads during major traffic times. Bartlett isnt as horrible and throughout the city there are some bike lanes too.
