anyone know where the aod cable hooks upto on the carb? Its on an 84 f-150 I-6. It is in the holder with the throttle cable, but not hooked to the carb linkage at all.thanks in advance for any help with this

 

I'm not familiar with the I6 engine but the AOD cable would hook up to the throttle arm
somehow. It has to move with the throttle movement. If it is not hooked up don't drive
the truck or you will fry the AOD transmission.

 

the po must have put on a diff. carb it doesnt have the 2 hook ups on the throttle arm and my buddy didnt know it wasnt hooked up so my guess it is cooked
