anyone ever had trouble getting water in a new motor?seams like it did'nt take all the water i thought it should but its not running hot.just wondering about these motors getting air pockets it them?
thanks john
How much did you get in John? Should be between 7 and 8 gallons, close to 8 I believe. You could have some air in it, if so it will work its way out, just keep an eye on it.
yea it don't have that much in it.i will be keeping an eye on it for sure as i don't want to do this agian.but as i said before its running great.O blowby and O leaks as of now.
looking at the old motor some of the pistons look to be rotated some.like if you have seen the stock pistons the arrows and numbers that piont up are kinda offset on 3 or 4 of these wonder if the PO sprayed it to much to start it up
