where is the location of power take off units on 2006 f-250/350 6.0 a/t

It is not included on all automatic transmissions.

check your window sticker to see if your pickup was equipped with the PTO option.

If the trans has the PTO option it is on the driver's side of the transmission. There will be a black sheet metal cover bolted to the trans. A non-PTO trans does not have this cover, the case does not have the hole.

does the 2006 f-250 have a power take off that does not mount on the transmission. for instance under the hood. with a 12 volt clutch.
