tex how about making the blue the same color grey so the oval looks like part of the shoe. you may have to make the ford script blue though.
+1 for the nose flames they rock

Edit: The blue shows up better for the Ford on the true to scale picture.

I would quarter turn the ford ovals to fit perfectly in shape with the horse shoes
