Anybody running a brush guard?

Like the title says....are any of you guys running brush guards / bull bars / prerunner bars on your 92-96 trucks? I've been thinking of doing something to the front of my truck, but I don't really want to go with the tube grille like a lot of guys have. Suggestions?

Ya i got the tube brush gaurd also and a bug deflector, its hard to get your hand in between to pop the hood open. Also you cant stand on the bumper as good. It does make it look cool though, go check out my profile. I just finished putting some lights on a headache rack I put together, I still got to put pictures up.

Westin grille guard on mine-remember that a grille guard will change your front end alignment (camber) due to the extra weight, unless you have a solid axle F-350

Well I didn't see a name on it but by looking at thechief68's, it looks like its a westin guard. Im gonna put some pics in my gallery of my light bar, its a little high but I didn't have to modify it at all.

I like the look of the full grille guards the best. The Westin one isn't exactly what I had in mind, but I'm having a really hard time finding somewhere that actually sells stuff like this for our trucks that doesn't cost a fortune.

This is what I have in mind, but in stainless

I think that's an older Westin. If it was me, I'd build a custom bumper and make a guard for it. If you build/have built a custom guard, you can get it modular so you can replace pieces if it gets bent. IE: if you hit a deer and bend the headlight guard, you can have it bolt on and then you just unbolt it and build a new one.

I wish that I had the resources to build one. Right now, however, I'm in college and living in an apartment with only my basic hand tools. It would be great to one day build one like the BroncoAir Extreme Duty with guards that I could bolt on, but right now I'd just love to find something that looks good, holds up to light abuse, and cost less than $500. Just a dream? Signs are pointing to yes...

Most likely. I'm still in highschool, but I have ag (aka either weld or just dick around all the time) so I can build anything and only pay for the metal.
