I just bought this coil Ford TFI Coil, Street Fire - 5527. I wanted to know how far i could advance my timing an increase my plug gap to get the most out of the coil. If this helps i use NGK V-Power® Spark Plugs ford my spark plugs.

A hot coil is pretty much a waste when you already had more ignition than any street motor needs, except a full race motor.
This coil does NOT allow you to change anything if you timing was already set to optimum. Otherwise you were sold a bill of goods so they could get your money.
I just tuned my 92 using Ford racing 9mm plugwires, an msd 8227 coil, napa cap and rotor and autolite plugs gapped at .050. I did everything but the coil at first, cause I didn't think it needed a coil until I saw the terminals. Anyway, the basic tune made a difference, but I could actually feel a difference when I got the coil installed, kinda surprised me.
Make sure your wires are good, and I'd gap the plugs a .050. Worked for me.
