Mobil One 75-90w will make the transmission shift better in the cold and if you can afford it works well in all. Regular 90 weight is cheaper and will work good.
The transmission is suppose to be originally filled with 50 weight motor oil, the rest were filled with 90 weight.
Straight 50 weight motor oil and 90 weight gear oil are just about the same weight or viscosity but the additives are different.
Any name brand gear oil will work fine. For dino oil I recommend Shell Spirax 75W90, but can't beat Mobil 1 for synthetic. Shell Omala is great stuff, but you'll need to find an oil distributor to get it.
Don't laugh, but the Wal-Mart brand oil recieves pretty high marks and is very affordable.
Here is a handy-dandy chart for oil viscosity. If I had a nickle for everytime someone thought gear oil was thicker than engine oil I could rival Warren Buffet or Bill Gates by now...

According to several members of this site Quaker State makes Walmarts oil. I have run generic store brand oil in most of my vehicles since the day I bought them and have never had an oil related issue.

I am sure, for the most part, Supertech is formulated a half dozen different ways. I know Exxon used to make it back in the day, but that oil wasn't highly regarded.
It wouldn't surprise me if the base stocks are coming from Pennzoil or Quaker State.
