Steering/Front Conversion
I just purchased a 78 F250 with a D60 front. I plan on removing the closed knuckle, drum brake D60 front from my 75 Crew Cab and putting the 78 front under it. I know bolting in the axle will be simple, but are there any tricks to know when converting the 75 to the 78 steering setup?? From what I gathered the 78 steering is alot better setup. I'm picking the 78 up tonight so I haven't had a chance to take a look at the two different steering setups, but I figured someone on here had done the swap before so they would know what details are entailed in getting the job done. Any info/tips are appreciated.

far as i know it should bolt righ tin, the axle that is, the steering i dont think so. do a search i know there are several threads describing how to swap... someday i will do that same swap.
