My insurance company is Travelers, They are the ones on TV that has the red umbrella....LOL. They also gave me a 2011 truck to use while mine is being fixed... Good insurance company. From the time I contacted them and the time they give me an approval was 3 days. Not like Ford 38 days and they still rejected the claim. Again guys thanks for all the replys, advise, and help on this terrible journey.

Driving the 2011 6.7? Uh oh, you'll never want to go back. I wonder if that's what the dealer is hoping for.

No, not the 6.7L It is a 2011 Dodge Ram 1500 4.7 and the insurance company got it for me thru Enterprise retal. Heck the dealership didn't even suggest to me about a loaner vehicle. The insurance co is paying for the entire rental and NO cost to me.

Hey guys, thought I would let all you know today 18th I will be getting my truck back after 47 days of pure h*ll. The truck service mgr. even said he was going to take care of my $250.00 deductable. After over $11,000.00 repairs of the entire fuel system I guess I will have like a brand new truck. I will be gun shy putting in my first diesel fill up wondering if the fuel is containtaminted or not....LOL. So I should be back into my truck before the day is out.

Glad to hear they finally got it worked out!

Save your fuel reciepts! The gas station is liable for such damage, make sure you keep track of who sold you the fuel in case this ever happens again.

It's good to see your insurance company take care of you like that!

I ask one thing.... dont blame the dealer. they like you just want to get your truck out of the shop after all they dont get paid till that happens.
they are/were stuck in the middle of a ford political nightmare. Your understanding in this will go along way.
Most shops dealers included do not know that you can turn this type of damage over to an insurance carrier, as it dose not happen often.
best of luck, enjoy the truck and be safe
