E150 4.2 help needed

E150 4.2 help needed
First off, I apologize if this is the wrong thread-I did not see a thread for the E-series vans.
My father passed away 5 years ago and my mother put his work van in the garage.
It is a 1999 E150 "plain jane" cargo van. With only 22,500 miles. 4.2 V6.
She is planning on selling it so I want to take it home and change the oil "clean her up".
The problem: NO FIRE. Turns over nicely, and even felt like she tried to fire once or twice. It does have 1/2 tank of gas which I'm sure is terrible, but was hoping to add fresh until I could work that crap out.
Any suggestions? I figured the fuel pump died, don't know if I can hear it as I have no way to turn key and crawl under to hear.
