If you're looking for cheap wheels, take a look at what Summit has to offer in steel wheels. They're not going to be as light as aluminum, but you can still get chromed steel wheels for a fairly reasonable price, and they have quite a selection of sizes if you're OK with painted too.
My F-250 came with them stock, and it is soo hard to find tires for it. Standard skinny street tires run you 200 minimum, and good luck finding decent tires for it. Recently I decided to get some decent A/t or M/t tires for mine, so I will be getting 16 inch wheels. Much easier to work with.
Hmm ok ill have to look into them right now im just going to put street tires on them till i get done with rebuilding my motor and will trust it off roading 214000 miles isnt exactly the time to take it on an adventure haha
Nope, the hd the over 8500lbs model trucks are hub-centric not stud-centric wheels.
You do not want all the load the truck can and could carry riding on the wheel studs.
The center hub takes the load, the studs retain the wheel.
my factory aluminum mods on my 91, 8800 gvw are not hub centric.
Read the OP first question
NOTHING was mentioned about STOCK, ALSO where in the hell would you find stock bead locks?
his 3rd post mentioned stock including 16.5. youre still wrong, a die grinder still makes any of them fit the hub, but the old 3/4 tons only have a 1/2 stud, so do they fit our 9/16 studs?
Guess you missed the 5th post asking about STOCK wheels
And he has a 96 which has HUB CENTRIC wheels Not lug centric

Guess you missed his first 2 asking about non stock wheels
but whatever you gotta do to save face in your mind is up to you.
MOST FORD factory, and MOST aft market ALUMINUM rims are not going to be hub centric. why is this so hard for you to understand?
theres enough clearance to put in your hub cover/sleeve. With the proper nuts, the hub vs stud is of little consequence.

Save face? I just read what the guys was asking? He updated his question? is he not allowed to do that? You only read the posts that you want to read? Most Ford wheels up untill 91 will not fit his HUB centric axles(92-current). Whats with your attitude? Guess you didnt bother to read post #4 either.
For what it's worth, I recently had a set of aluminum 16 x 8, 8x6.5 wheels installed on my 96 F350 from Discount Tire. Around $90 each and they look good. Replaced the ugly factory 16x7 steelies.
