Got some work done on my air/fuel ratio tester I am building to fine tune my summit carb. Little upset I tried to use the 3/4 wood spade bit which didn't really work as good as the hole saws I used for the other sizes. Already messed it up cause trying to use a 3/4 hole saw the centering bit was too small for the hole the spade bit already made so it walked on me. Oh well its a tool that will probably get banged up more than some chewed up plastic. Hopefully the plasti-dip sticks nice and is durable enough for use as a tool. All I need to do now is let it dry 12 hours real good then I can start installing the switches, gauges, and wire it all up.

Lol, Nice one! Haha

Hey! Ya know, I used to own a Jeep like that. Here let me tell you all about it...

Got more done on my Air/Fuel meter I am building for tuning my truck. Step forward and a step back. Step back is I was trying to pull the deutsche connector apart so I could pass the wires through the grommet in the box I am using. I didn't want to cut the 02 sensor wires as I was afraid of the autometer gauge reading incorrectly. Well I got 3 of the pins out but the other three wouldn't release with my release tool. They are also loose and fairly deformed, deformed enough that I am cutting my losses on it and will be order a 25ft long harness to replace this 8ft harness with from summit when I get my check from work. Was concerned the 8ft might have been too short to bring the box inside the truck so I can use it while driving.

In any case when I get the new harness in I wont be disconnecting those horrible deutsche connectors I am just going to snip the 02 sensor wires up near the connector at the gauge itself and soldier the wires back together and shrink wrap. Hope it doesn't throw the gauge off.

Home safe and somewhat sound from an 1100 mile camping trip. Old gal never skipped a beat, hauling a camper and towing our Jeep.

Time to go burn some laundry. Not sure it's even worth trying to wash after a three-week trip.
