A4LD rebuild

I'm about to order the parts for the transmission overhaul.

Is this gonna work?
Atc-Pro-King/Automatic Transmission Rebuild Kit (KS-97) | Automatic Transmission Rebuild Kit | 1995 Ford Aerostar 2WD 6 Cylinders U 3.0L MFI | AutoZone.com

And this TC?

Dacco/Transmission Torque Converter (A4LD) | Transmission Torque Converter | 1995 Ford Aerostar 2WD 6 Cylinders U 3.0L MFI | AutoZone.com

Any other sources?

Sorry, I have no experience with A/T or American cars (but working on it )

i'd put in a shift kit also

A4LD Performance Transmission and Parts from PATC, A4LD

A4LD, Valve body kits, Bulkpart transmission parts

i'd put in new pump gears
A4LD, Pumps, Bulkpart transmission parts

and new servo pistons seals break down harden and wear out
A4LD, Servos & Accumulators, Bulkpart transmission parts

and check the A4LD 6 bolt crankshaft spacer, they often are broken
get the upgrade from the first link

new vac. modulator

Dacco TCs are good, stay away from the eGay stuff

DIYer extensive guide with pics.

Thanks a lot for the answer.

I've seen (and bookmarked) your log... it was what brought me to this great site.

...and since you're getting greasy, add another cooler to make it the only rebuild you'll ever do...mine with a rebuild and a new cooler sees 120F heat, towing a trailer and never falters.

what taurus said^

plate and fin ATF coolers are the best. tube/fin have too much ATF flow restriction, starves the tranny of lube. I bypassed my in radiator tank cooler and just run with one huge plate fin
even improved the shifting
no overheating even towing 4000 lbs +

The tube and fin coolers don't create flow restriction, they just don't efficiently get rid of head unless they are rather large. The plate type coolers are far more efficient. I posted a picture of my setup in my "Major Repairs and Upgrades" post. The coolers are small but very effective at eliminating heat. I'm running two of the B&M Supercoolers. I use one for the trans and the other for power steering. The power steering one is because they way I have mine set up I simply don't have room for the original trans cooler to be used for the power steering. But two B&M supercoolers fit very nicely. I had to do mine the way I did because I have a pusher fan on the front of my condenser. The cooler is way overkill on the power steering.
