i was wondering if the firewalls on the gas engine trucks and diesel are the same, i am wanting to change my cab cuz mime has a little rust around the windshield and would prefer changing in a rust free cab. i have seen one but i think it is a gasser cab so if u guys could help me i could decide if this is the best way to go or wait.

Yes they are the same but the transmission tunnel area has a pan that bolts in for the diesel. Not a big deal to cut the floor and bolt in the panel. Its done that way from the factory.
ford cab options were open floor with or without head liner. closed floor with or without head liner, in regular cab super cab and 4 door from '87 to '97 for the F150, F250, F350. as Tim said if it is a closed floor just cut it out and bolt your cover in.
You'll have to swap all your engine and dash wiring, gauge cluster, and all engine electronics like PCM and IDM. Headlight wiring, door/window wiring, etc. should be the same.
