'79 wiring harness

ive got a 1979 F150 that i want/need to replace the entire wiring harness bumper to bumper, on top of being 30 year wiring its been hacked into i dont even want to know how many times and im not sure if its even the original harness in the truck right now seeing as it has been totaled and rebuilt twice before i owned it. i found a kit through centech wire that is made to be used with fomoco switches and factory ford steering columns and instructions on wiring it to the duraspark ingnition. wondering if anyone else has used or heard of this kit or if anyone else has other options or ideas? the motor is a 460 out of a '76 lincoln and the cab is from a 75ish f150 i think

I've heard of them but don't have any personal experience with them. Everything that I have heard was good though.

If you have the money, painless wiring has the best kit I've seen. But it will set you back $900. I just found a harness for my 73 out of the wrecking yard for $15. Almost everything was intact.
