exhaust/muffler question

I have a 1999 expedition and I found a used 1 in 2 out from a 1997 F150 would this fit my truck without major modification?

Any muffler will fit, only thing that matters is the diameter of the pipe. There should be no modification to anything besides maybe some exhaust/muffler hangers

I don't think that is the case. A 1 into 2 is a common thing on pick ups, and any of the manufacturers web sites will spec that out for you, but if you try to go through the same process with an Expedition you won't get any options. I think the people here who have done it have had it custom bent.
