Guage Problems again

I have enough trouble seeing as it is. If I drink any of that stuff I sure enough won't get anything done.LOL

Well the guages are working again in the 52 ford. I did what you told me to do with taking the wires off and trying them one at a time. Then I took the tool box off the top of the gas tank and I think it was shorting out through the sending unit. everything worked after I did that. I put some electrical tape on top of it and all around the screw put the tool box back on but raised it a little. Anyway we are back on track.

Maybe a piece of sheet rubber glued to the bottom of the tool tray will help insulate!

Yes I think that the sheet rubber is a great idea as soon as I can find an old intertube I will do just that. All I have now is electrical tape and I know it will probably rub through in time. But at least the guages are back working for now which is great.
