Value of complete rear 9" diff

Have a 9" 4.10 gear out of my 68 Roaster and was approach by someone to sell it. He wants it for a jeep since it is narrowed. How much is it worth??

Welcome to the forum! Lotta good people here, lots of advice too. Nother forum here has saved me TIME & MONEY, very important to this Swamp Geezer ;-}. Also nice is I've joined with local folk (everyone has a State [local] Chapter) and get together once a month. Of considerable importance.

Boy, your question has a wide range of answers. I like how gfw ans. it, simple.
To me, it depends on so much: Piece of it or whole, how many R around, condition, desirability, location (area of country & distance between seller/buyer) etc. I'd agree tho - $50 to $200 (latter is high in my mind).
